All children like to complain about going to school. But when we leave, what do we remember most about our formative years? This month, to celebrate the arrival of autumn, we asked our members to tell us how they really felt about their schooldays.
The positives were overwhelming, with 55% of people saying that their friends were the most important thing to them at school – something that many of us can agree with. Perhaps more surprising though were the 13% who said that their favourite part of school was the school dinners – yuck! A smart 17% also said that lessons were what got them up in the morning and 2% even admitted to liking their school uniform best of all…
When asked about their least favourite aspects of school the response levels were much lower and more than one in four people said that there was nothing they didn’t like about school. 27% claimed that they didn’t enjoy their lessons while 19% said that school dinners were the thing they loathed most of all! Perhaps they should have spoken to Jamie Oliver?
School days can often seem like some of the hardest of our lives, with exams and social pressures on top of the challenges of growing up! 46% of our community respondents said that they found school lessons the hardest thing to deal with, while 27% said that making friends was their biggest challenge. One in ten fashionistas said that their biggest challenge was deciding what to wear to be cool, while only 5% claimed to swan through their schooldays without a care in the world.
So what do you remember most about your schooldays? Post your comments below or alternatively log onto ciao.co.uk now.
I believe that anyone who wants to know something about this topic will like the post.this is a interesting post, but also a bit monotonous.
